INTERCOOLERS
An Intercooler (also known as a Charge Air Cooler), is a device used in turbocharged and supercharged engines to cool the air compressed by the turbocharger or supercharger before it enters the engine.
This cooling process increases the air density, allowing more oxygen to enter the combustion chamber & the cooler, denser air improves engine efficiency, enhances power output, and reduces the risk of damage from knocking (pre-ignition).
An intercooler also helps in maintaining a stable and reliable engine performance, ultimately contributing to better fuel efficiency and engine longevity.

RADIATORS
The radiator in your vehicle is an essential piece of the engine’s own cooling system.
Engines can generate a lot of excess heat and it’s essential to keep your engine cool to maintain good operating conditions & to ensure it’s longevity.
Traditional radiators achieve this by absorbing heat from the engine into the radiator & into a coolant mixture (usually water mixed with antifreeze).
The heat from the coolant is then “radiated” back into the atmosphere through a system of metal fins which help maximise it’s surface area & it’s exposure to the air.
